Monday will be Sunrise City Boardgame Night. Rook’s will have two demo copies of Sunrise City and a staff member available to demo the game. We will be selling copies of Sunrise City for $5 off that night or $10 off if you buy an open copy.
Sunrise City is a role selection, tile-laying, city- building board game. It’s simple enough for kids of a reasonable age, friendly enough for family game night, and meaty enough for experienced gamers. It can be played by two, three, or four players and, depending on your experience, is playable in 60 to 90 minutes.
The Gamer Garage Sale will be May 5th and 6th. The Gamer Garage sale is a great way to get store credit for stuff you don’t want or to pick up some great items. If you have some items to sell, print and fill out this form. Then bring your stuff along with the forms to Rooks. We will keep you stuff in a secure room untill the Garage Sale starts. If you sell some stuff, you will get store credit on your account. We will credit everyone’s accounts by Monday, May 7th. If you want to buy something in the Garage sale, just bring it up to the counter. We will accept checks and credit cards for Garage sale items. If you have any more questions you can e-mail us.
Help us open the Helvault at one of the special Helvault events! For more information check out this link. We will need your help opening the Helvault and releasing the most powerful beings of Innistrad. Both the Saturday main event and the Sunday Two-Headed Giant event will feature Helvaults. The midnight Pre-Release will be three rounds with a pack for each win. Bonus prizes to be determined.
The Saturday Main Event will be four rounds with a pack for each win. We will also do a cut to top to top 8 with additional prizes.
The Two-Headed giant event will be four rounds. There will be two packs per team per win.
